Contemporary Pemberton is home to a diverse population that includes a number of widely-published professional writers and photographers. We’ve tapped into their expertise to help tell the stories that make Pemberton such a special place.
Please feel free to contact any of our contributors for more information.
Natalie Langmann is a third-generation editor and free-lance writer, and is currently managing editor of Nat Ink. When she’s not out riding pow—with over two decades of Whistler seasons under her belt—she can be found holding the pen while staring out at the ever-so-majestic Mt. Currie from her home office in Pemberton.
Lapsed lawyer, aspiring yogi, freelance writer and occasional PR hack: Lisa knew she’d found her happy place in Pemberton when a cowboy rode past and asked “which way to the beach?” Spotlighting local eccentricity for 5 years as CBC’s community reporter, Richardson juggles magazine deadlines, tries to get enough time skiing, mountain-biking and rock-climbing, to keep pace with her neighbours and figures she will be truly free of her suburban upbringing when she is canning her own vegetables. First, she has to learn to grow them.

Dave Steers – Local photographer Dave Steers is often referred to as Pemberton’s photographer! Any time there’s a local event you’re sure to see Dave with his trusty Nikon D810 in tow. Dave is a long time local resident, and loves to share his photographs and experience with everyone in the community. Tourism Pemberton would like to thank Dave for providing most of the images used in the Tourism Pemberton website.
